Incepand cu anul 1973, Societatea ARTAMET, si-a dedicat activitatea prelucrarii artistice a fierului forjat. Valorificand cu maiestrie traditia, s-au creat articole artizanale cu motive ornamentale din arta populara romaneasca, precum si articole inspirate din arta medievala a vestitelor ateliere de mestesugari. Marea varietate a articolelor din fier forjat pot fi din metal natur, metal lacuit sau vopsit prin procedee moderne cu vopsele normale sau texturate. Produsele pot imbina deasemenea metalul cu sticla, lemnul sau ceramica. ARTAMET are un numar de 350 de angajati, cu o inalta calificare, artizani cunoscuti in zona Prahova.
Cifra de afaceri se ridica la suma de 1,2 milioane $, principalii clienti fiind Suedia, Germani, Norvegia, Italia, Japonia. Articolele prezentate sunt o mica parte din produsele executate de noi, iar la cererea clientului putem executa orice articol dupa model sau desen proiectat de designer.

Since 1973 the cooperative society ARTAMET has dedicated its activity to the artistic manufacture of the metals, particulary of wrought iron. turning to good account the tradition they have been creating handicraft pieces with ornamental motives from Romanian folklore art, as well as from the medieval art of the handicraft work shop inspired pieces. the large varietu of the wrought-iron articles may be made of genuine metal, laquered or by modern methods dyed iron using normal or textured dyes. It might ass well joined glass, wood employees, crftsman which a hight-skills and famous in the area of Prahova Valey.
The undistribited tax of the society reaches 1,2 millions $ yearly, the main customers being Sweden, Germany, Italy ans Japan. The articles presented here are a small part from the rank of products we make, moreover we can make any wished, following of model or of the designerr's drawing article on customer's demand.
